Operation Power Up Miiverse Posting Campaign

Today, August 4, 2013, Pikmin 3 has been released in the US! The Pikmin games have shown us that if we work together, we can accomplish anything! So here’s our mission! The Miiverse community is big and Nintendo does take notice to the posts there. The EarthBound community have succeeded on getting EarthBound/Mother 2 on Virtual Console in North America by simply letting Nintendo know that they want it through the Miiverse. For those with Nintendo Network IDs, the Pikmin 3 Miiverse Community is quickly growing now, so all we need from you is to simply post a message on the Pikmin 3 Community asking Nintendo of America to give Nintendo Power its own official Miiverse community or bring Nintendo Power back. Here’s an example post:
Source.
Furthermore if you see this post or any other Nintendo Power related post in the Miiverse, please be sure to give it a “Yeah” to make sure these posts get scene by more people. Feel free to post around anywhere in the Miiverse community as well! Pikmin has also shown us that there’s strength in numbers, so please share this article with people who are interested in officially bringing back Nintendo Power as a new publication, website, or a Miiverse community. You can also sign in the Miiverse on your computer and share your posts on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Tumblr. Just visit the official Miiverse website right here. Don’t forget to join our Facebook and follow us on Twitter! Thanks for helping us get the power! See you next mission! Our Facebook group: Here. Our Twitter: Here. Our petition: Here.

Continue? Yes!

Hello, this is Jeremii of Nintendium 128, also one of the leaders of Operation: Power Up.   Today, December 11, 2012, is the day where the last issue of Nintendo Power will be published.  My subscription ended around October, a few months after Nintendo confirm the cancellation of Nintendo Power, so there was no way for me to renew.  Be that as it may, I went to pick up the last issue.  As I saw the issue out on display, it felt like a surreal experience.  Seeing the giant homage to the first issue of Nintendo was heartwarming.  However knowing this might possibly the last issue ever was deeply saddening.  It felt like an end of an era.  I always felt that Nintendo Power will always be there, like Nintendo itself.  However seeing the words “Final Issue” was just too unreal.

At the end of the issue, there’s a picture the reads “Game Over!  Thanks for reading!”  We of Operation: Power Up are looking for the “Continue” option.  Please continue to support us in hopes of Nintendo of America bringing back or resurrecting Nintendo Power as a magazine or some sort of digital format.  Don’t let this legacy die now.  Sign our petition, join or Facebook, follow us on Twitter, join our events, write letters to Nintendo of America to let them know that you want the Power, Nintendo Power.
